The Board of Directors of Solstad Offshore ASA approved in a Board meeting on the 26th of March 2009, the annual report and accounts for 2008.

The net profit for the Group for 2008 was NOK 26,9 mill, which is NOK 23,2 mill lower than the preliminary result announced February 26th 2009. The changes is mainly related to changes in the tax computation and a write down in connection with the cancellation of the shipbuilding contract at Karmsund Maritime Serivce AS, as per announcement dated March 10th 2009.
Proposed dividends from Solstad Offshore ASA is NOK 2,00 per share for 2008, and will be proposed to be paid 5th of June 2009.
The General Meeting is planned to be May 18th 2009.
