Solstad Offshore ASA employs a total of 950 seamen on its payroll. More than 700 of them are Norwegian which makes us the largest employer of Norwegian seamen in foreign trade.
Norway has a long tradition as a seafaring nation with a high level of maritime education. However, Norwegian seamen are also known for their expertise and have a good reputation world wide.
This is why it is natural for us to employ a significant number of Norwegians in our fleet as well as in our onshore operations.
