Normand Jarl took over the trone this quarter, they used the remaining 3 month in 2011 to do as much as 318 SGO's (Solstad Green Operations), and considering weather conditions in some parts of the world this is a good overall achievement. Normand Pacific was not far behind, they managed 253 and Normand Clough still on third with a steady 210. For those of you who are interested in statistic, and I know there are many of you, I can inform that the 3 vessels above produced 20% of the overall SGO number this quarter.
Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has today taken delivery of “Normand Arctic" from STX OSV AS, Langsten. “Normand Arctic" is a large LNG fuelled platform supply vessel (PSV). The vessel will be trading in the North Sea for Statoil for a firm period of 3 months with additional 5 montly optins.
Normand Pacific won the quarterly competition...again, with a record high number of SGO's (Solstad Green Operations) registered: 621! Normand Jarl came in second with a nice 394, Normand Clough third with 233. Bravo!! It is also worth mentioning that the 3 top positions on the list has improved 60% from last quarter.

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) increased its ownership in NOR Offshore Ltd. (Nor) to 100% by the purchase of the 40.9% stake held by Nortrans Invest Pte Ltd (Nortrans). The transaction was announced to the Oslo Stock Exchange on 6th April 2011 and a new name, Solstad Offshore Asia Pacific Ltd (SOAPAC) was formally registered on 8th June 2011.
