The “Solstad Green Operations” campaign where we encourage our vessels to save fuel has been through a record quarter. Normans Master took once again the top position with 440 “SGO” recorded in Q2-2014. The crew on Normand Master has been working with improving the reporting frequency this year, Q2-2014 was once again a success for this vessel, and the “Greenest vessel award” comes as no surprise.
Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) took 1st July 2014 delivery of “Normand Vision" (CSV) from Vard Group AS, Søviknes. The vessel started directly on a 8 year firm chart with Ocean Installer AS with additional 2 yearly options.
Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has entered into agreements for the sale of «Nor Supporten» (AHTS / 2005 / 8.000 bhp).
Reference ismade to the notice earlier sent to Oslo Stock Exchange on March 11th 2014, where it was announced that Solstad had signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with a major international offshore contractor to build and operate a new build large subsea construction vessel. It was also announced that Solstad had signed a LOI with VARD Group to build this vessel. Both LoIs have now been converted to firm contracts.
Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has today taken delivery of "Normand Reach" (CSV) from Vard, Aukra.
Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has been awarded a new contract by Petrobras for hire of the AHTS's "Normand Titan".

The “Solstad Green Operations” campaign has a new vessel on top for the first quarter in 2014. The crew on Normand Master has been working with improving the reporting frequency the last year. Q1-2014 was a success on board, and the crew was rewarded with the “Greenest vessel award” for the same quarter. Normand Master has been operating for Petrobras in Brazil.
