  • The fourth quarter in 2012 has now been closed and a Solstad Green Operations winner for this quarter has been announced.

Normand Pacific is again on top, with 521 Green Operations in Q4 - 2012 the crew on this vessel has shown determination and will to climb all the way to the top. Looking at the Solstad Green Operations report from Pacific we can see that they have used every possible opportunity to save fuel, and in average every record has given them 0,9 SGO points, but we also find records with as little as 70 liters in savings, but still 0.1 SGO as a result. If we combine this with the good reporting culture on Pacific we get good results this quarter.

  • The race for SGO fame and glory in Q3 - 2012 has come to an end, and we have a proud winner.

Normand Atlantic with 272 Green Operations won the quarterly competition this time. Looking at the Solstad Green Operations report we can see that Normand Atlantic's focus area has been on the main engine, like on board many of our vessels. This category has become the most popular category, maybe it is because of the immediate effect it has on the fuel consumption. Normand Atlantic has been doing many rig operations this quarter, despite the high level of safety and complexity in these operations they have managed to keep a high environmental focus on board, which is very good.
