Solstad Green Operations results for the Q1 - 2012 has been published.

The crew on Normand Drott will besides glory, receive (NOK 5,000) for this achievement, and can yet again fill up the welfare found with "green" money. Normand Drott has been working for Petrobras during this period and has chosen wisely from the SGO menu, where we can see among the most popular categories are reducing energy use on the main engines and thrusters.

Our Nor Vessels has been trying the campaign for a while now, and they learn quickly! we can already find Nor vessels on the list for the first time in the SGO quarterly reporting history. Environmental focus is growing stronger and stronger all around the globe and it is very satisfying to see how all our vessels have embraced this challenge, asked questions, planned routes, worked with all engines trying and find the most effective way to operate, this is SGO in practise!

I have been in contact with the top 3 SGO vessels regarding T-shirts, again there will just be an opening to replace worn-out shirts, this time on Normand Drott and Normand Atlantic, but also any new crew members on all 3 vessels will receive shirts, I will need number and sizes please.

For the first time in SGO history we have put all vessels in categories, you should all by now been put in a category, as you know we have 3 categories, PSV, OCV and AHTS. I will have a look at this later and I may suggest we lift these winners also, stay tuned!.

We had an increase in fuel consumption this quarter 52,176m3 (Q1 -2012) compared to last quarter 44,650m3 (Q4-2011), average per month for Q1 was 17,392 m3 compared to 14,720 m3 in Q4.
